Here are some of the major characters you will see in both the LoM stories and the roleplay, and some short background info about them. You may either encounter these characters directly, or you will hear them being mentioned. Listed in alphabetical order.
Aethon (EYE-thon) - black hedgehog with red eyes and purple streaks on his quils; son of Shadow and Khare; Turq's boyfriend; friendly, comical, somewhat mischevious, but brave and loyal; youngest of the Chosen Ones
Arona (ah-RO-nah) - pale violet-blue female hedgehog with light hazel eyes; one of the four ancient spirits that often visits and guides the Chosen Ones; powerful healer
Blizzard - tall black and white hedgehog with fierce yellow eyes; Frost's father, and leader of Ice Cap village
Blue Star - a mysterious entity that often appears as a bright blue star in the night sky; normally the only ones to see this Star are Sonic, Cyan, and the Chosen Ones, but it does reveal itself to large groups of people at times; Sometimes it speaks to those who see it, and heals them of fear and pain
Charon (Cair-ON)- tall, muscuar red echidna with purple eyes, black streaks on his dreads and white Guardian ring on his chest; youngest son of Trau and Knuckles; Denalhma's boyfriend; brave, very strong, humorous, and sometimes a bit horny; one of the youngest Chosen Ones
Coby - blue hedgehog with hazel eyes and a tuft of spikey hair on his forehead; oldest son of Sonic and Cyan; King of Mobotropolis; courageous, righteous, loyal and kind; eldest of the Chosen Ones
Cyan (SIGH-anne) - very light blue hedgehog with hazel eyes and a blue heart marking on her belly; wife of Sonic; mother of Coby and Turq; former Queen of Mobotropolis; gentle, loving, faithful, but very timid and quiet; has strong healing powers that can cure physical and mental ailments
Demener (deh-MEAN-er) - red and black female echidna with yellowish eyes; one of the four ancient spirits that often visits and guides the Chosen Ones; has powers of destruction
Denalhma (den-ALL-mah) - pretty purple female echidna with light blue eyes and long, braided dreads; an aquaintence of Silver's - came to Mobotropolis with him after her home was destroyed by Balgroth; Charon's girlfriend
Frost - pale blue hedgehog with white blazes on her quills and soft green eyes; Blizzard's daughter, and Coby's love interest; athletic, friendly, caring, and brave; has the ability to control ice
Jenna - white female echidna with pale orange markings; one of the four ancient spirits that often visits and guides the Chosen Ones; has the power of life
Keesho - orange tiger with black stripes and brown eyes; orphaned - was adopted by Sonic and Cyan; shy, nervous, but kind and very intelligent; second oldest of the Chosen Ones
Khare (CAR-uh) - purple female hedgehog with black markings on her quills and golden eyes; wife of Shadow; mother of Aethon; best friend of Cyan; powerful psychic
Knuckles - powerful red echidna with purple eyes and white Guardian ring on his chest; Guardian of the Master Emerald; husband of Trau and father of Charon and Raena; daring, strong, honest and caring, but somewhat stubborn and gullible
Korone (Kah-RONE) - dark red hedgehog with gold, flame-like streaks on his quills and fierce golden eyes; one of the four ancient spirits that often visits and guides the Chosen Ones; brother of Arona; powerful fire elemental
Kovar (KO-varr) - the malevolent god of darkness and war; has the body of a man, the head of a wolf, two tails and great, feathered wings; black fur with bright green markings and ice-blue eyes; has many terrible powers, including the ability to control ice, psychic powers, and the ability to harness the power of the Chaos Emeralds; believed to have been defeated by the Chosen Ones many years ago, and sealed away somewhere with powerful magic
Naugus (NAH-guss) - strange-looking, powerful wizard that once worked with Robotnik; responsible for discovering the Void, a mysterious portal; cunning, vile and treacherous; believed to have been defeated by Sonic and the others long before Chosen Ones were born
Nihara (nih-HARR-uh) - dark purple female hedgehog with grey eyes and long bangs; once an enemy, now a loyal friend and supporter of Mobotropolis; Captain of the Guard; Coby's mentor; cold, stern and fierce in battle, but honest and very compassionate with those she loves
Nimbus - solid black pasha (horse-like creature) with bright red eyes and lightning bolt brand on his cheek; Coby's favorite pasha; wild and uncontrollable, except by Coby
Raena (RAY-nah) - white female echidna with golden eyes, black streaks on her dreads, and red Guardian ring on her chest; oldest daughter of Knuckles and Trau; sister of Charon; stubborn and somewhat standoff-ish, but courageous and faithful; one of the oldest Chosen Ones; has the power of life
Rick - tall white polar bear with blue eyes; Frost's prearranged boyfriend; friendly, strong and caring, though some believe that he doesn't truly love Frost
Robotnik - the great tyrant that took over Mobotropolis many years ago, and established a robotic empire that nearly destroyed Mobius; used the dreaded machine, the "Roboticizor," to turn his prisoners into robot slaves; cruel, ambitious and very intelligent; finally defeated by Sonic long before birth of Chosen Ones
Shadow - black hedgehog with red eyes, red streaks on his quills, arms and legs, and white patch of fur on his chest; husband of Khare; father of Aethon; reserved, aloof and stern, but fearless, strong and devoted to family; known as the "Ultimate Life Form" and has many powers, such as superspeed and the ability to control chaos energy; he is immortal and cannot age
Shea - (SHAY - rhymes with ray) pretty white tiger with a pink nose and bright blue eyes; Keesho's girlfriend; quiet, shy, conservative, intelligent and gentle; a brilliant scholar
Silver - silvery-white hedgehog with golden eyes, thick fur on his chest and a plume of quills on his forehead; came to Mobotropolis when his homeland Arja was destroyed in a Balgroth enslaught; has powerful telekinesis
Sonic - brilliant blue hedgehog with emerald-green eyes; former King of Mobotropolis; husband of Cyan; father of Coby and Turq; courageous, adventurous, caring and heroic; has incredible superspeed
Trau (TRAY-you) - red and black female echidna with yellowish eyes and long dreads; wife of Knuckles; mother of Raena and Charon; best friend of Cyan; funny, mischevious, and sometimes quick to anger, but devoted and fearless; has the power of destruction
Turq - blue hedgehog with lighter streaks on her quills and emerald-green eyes; youngest daughter of Sonic and Cyan; sister of Coby; Aethon's girlfriend; beautiful, sassy, strong, and very caring; has superspeed; one of the youngest Chosen Ones
Veren (VAIR-en) - brown echidna with green eyes; good friend of Knuckles and Trau - he supported them when most echidnas on the Floating Island were ready to revolt
Vren - huge, white Night Demon that basically looks like a giant wolf with huge, feathered wings, golden eyes, a golden collar around his neck and gold rings around his legs; loyal friend of the original Freedom Fighters; now a council member and guard of Mobotropolis; fierce and extremely powerful, but kind-hearted, intelligent, and gentle with any creatures smaller and weaker than himself; has venomous fangs and is immortal
Zion (ZI-on - rhymes with "Lion") - muscular dark red echidna with gold eyes; formerly a leader of a resistence on the Floating Island; fierce enemy of Knuckles; now a loyal supporter of Kovar and the Balgroth
